Maulana Abdul Baqi Idris Sindhi is a renowned Islamic scholar and researcher. He comes from a lineage of esteemed scholars, including his father, Sheikh Muhammad Idris Sindhi, and grandfather, Maulana Muhammad Qasim Somro. Abdul Baqi's educational background includes: Studying under his grandfather and father, Memorizing the Quran and studying Islamic sciences, Graduating from Farooqia University in Karachi, Specializing in Hadith and its sciences under Sheikh Maulana Abdul Haleem Chishti No’mani (May Allah have shower mercy on his soul) , Receiving his Shahada Al-Alamiyya in Quran and Sunnah from the University of Karachi. Abdul Baqi has worked as a Researcher at the Islamic Thought Council in Islamabad, an Expert in Arabic language and Islamic sciences at the Sindh Textbook Board, and a Teacher at Muhammadia University and Anwar-ul-Uloom University. He has also founded the Dr. Muhammad Idris Sindhi Academy and authored several books and articles in Arabic, Sindhi, and Urdu.
