Mufti Abdurrahmaan Irshad Meer Muhammad is an Islamic scholar and graduate of the renowned Dārul-'Ulūm Deoband Islamic seminary. He completed his hifz at a young age and then did his alim course, a rigorous, comprehensive 7 year Islamic education program, primarily in the US. He culminated the program by completing its last year, Daurah Ĥadīth, in Dārul-'Ulūm Deoband. Furthering his academic pursuits, he also completed Takmīl al-'Ulūm (Specialization in Islamic Sciences) and Takmīl Iftā' (Specialization in issuing legal rulings). He also acquired ijāzah (certification) for both the Sab'ah and 'Asharah Qirā'āt, boasting one of the shortest chains of transmission in the Indian subcontinent, tracing back to the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. Additionally, he received specialized certification (ijāzah) in refuting Christianity, Hinduism, and deviated sects within Islam. Mufti Abdurrahmaan currently co-authors al-Hidāyah Magazine.
